Our factory is actively engaged in setting short-term and long-term sustainability targets in line with the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) requirements. This strategic framework helps us reduce greenhouse gas emissions and strengthen our commitment to a low-carbon future. We are dedicated to meeting these targets and continually improving our environmental performance.

Boiler

In our pursuit of reducing our carbon footprint, we have installed a 12-ton biomass boiler. This renewable energy solution allows us to decrease greenhouse gas emissions and shift toward cleaner energy sources. By utilizing biomass as an alternative to traditional fossil fuels, we are helping to mitigate environmental harm while maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing processes. Recycling

At Meko Denim Mills, we care about saving water, especially during dyeing and finishing processes. We employ advanced water recycling systems that enable us to reuse a significant portion of the water used in production and protect the environment. This special filtering process allows us to recycle an impressive 70% of our water, minimizing water consumption and reducing our environmental impact. By prioritizing water recycling, we contribute to sustainable water management practices within the textile industry and align with the following Sustainable Development Goals:

Our production process prioritizes the use of organic and recycled fibers, minimizing the environmental impact of our products. Meko Denim Mills is committed to utilizing renewable energy sources to power our operations. A key component of our sustainability strategy is the installation of a 12-ton biomass boiler and the ongoing 7MW solar project, which will significantly reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and minimize greenhouse gas emissions while maintaining operational efficiency. This initiative not only helps lower our carbon footprint but also promotes a circular economy by transforming waste into a valuable energy resource.
